Arrowhead Pale Lager Beer Cone Top Can

Arrowhead Pale Lager Cone Top

The Arrowhead Pale Lager cone top is a distinguished artifact of Wisconsin brewing heritage, produced by the Louis Ziegler Brewing Company of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Following the repeal of Prohibition, the Louis Ziegler brewery continued a deep-rooted Dodge County brewing tradition originally established in the nineteenth century, catering to local and regional consumers with specialized brand offerings.

Graphic design on the can is defined by its bold arrowhead insignia, sharp period typography, and crisp presentation framing the pale lager brand name. Manufactured as a high-profile steel container by the Continental Can Company, the can was distributed throughout regional Midwestern markets.

Among breweriana collectors, the Arrowhead Pale Lager can is considered a scarce and sought-after regional find. Because the Beaver Dam brewery operated with modest production volumes compared to larger Milwaukee-based breweries of the era, fewer examples circulated and survived over time. Subtle design variations exist across different production runs, primarily involving mandatory tax statements and small labeling revisions, while retaining the signature central insignia. As a testament to small-city Wisconsin brewing, it remains a centerpiece for collectors focused on Midwestern cone tops.
