Bavarian Weiss Pilsner Beer 16 Oz Tab Top Can

Maier Bavarian Weiss 16 Oz Tab Top

The Bavarian Weiss Pilsner Beer 16 oz tab top can was issued by the historic Maier Brewing Company of Los Angeles, California. Maier, an iconic fixture in Southern California's brewing landscape operating from its longtime facility on Commercial Street, was widely recognized for producing an expansive portfolio of regional labels, value brands, and contract brews.

Among Maier's diverse lineup, the Bavarian Weiss brand was packaged in multiple sizes and formats, with the 16-ounce pint version catering to consumers seeking a larger single-serve volume. The can graphics feature traditional German-inspired Bavarian Weiss branding paired with clear labeling denoting the full pint capacity, often displayed prominently near the top rim.

For collectors, this pint can represents an interesting chapter of Maier's mid-century packaging history. Multiple variations exist across production runs, showcasing subtle differences in mandatory brewery text placement, font weight, and rim verbiage.
