Bohemian 93 Extra Pale Super Dry Beer Flat Top Can

Bohemian 93 Extra Pale Can

The Bohemian 93 Extra Pale Super Dry Beer flat top can is a notable piece of Midwestern breweriana, issued by the Bohemian Brewing Company of Chicago, Illinois. Rooted in Chicago's industrial brewing heritage, the can prominently features the bold numeral "93" as the centerpiece of its graphic design, complemented by crisp typography detailing its "Extra Pale Super Dry" designation.

Design and Manufacturing

Manufactured with the classic "Keglined" trademark from the American Can Company, the Bohemian 93 can incorporates bold lettering and metallic panel accents typical of mid-century packaging design. The prominent numerical branding aligns with a broader mid-20th-century trend where regional breweries utilized recipe or batch numbers to distinguish their product lines on crowded retail shelves.

Collector Notes and Variations

The Bohemian 93 label holds enduring appeal among collectors specializing in Chicago and Illinois breweriana. Examples have been documented in well-known historical breweriana finds, including collections preserved from mid-century commercial and rail-route displays.

Variations of the can exist across production runs. These variations include subtle differences in mandatory brewery text formatting, patent markings along the seam, and minor layout adjustments. Its strong regional identity and striking graphic layout make it a staple addition for collectors documenting the history of Chicago beer packaging.
