Bohemian Club Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Montana's Bohemian Club Legacy

The Bohemian Club Beer 12 oz tab top can represents a notable chapter in Pacific Northwest and Mountain West brewing history. Produced by the Brewing Company of Montana in Great Falls, Montana, this can originates from the era when Portland-based Blitz-Weinhard acquired the historic Great Falls Breweries facility. During this transitional period, the Great Falls plant operated under the Brewing Company of Montana moniker before regional production was consolidated.

The Bohemian Club brand held a long-standing regional presence across Idaho, Washington, and Montana, originally developed by Bohemian Breweries before being absorbed into broader regional operations. On the can's packaging, collectors often note the recognizable branding along with the memorable promotional tagline "Bo Belongs," which was heavily featured in advertising during this era.

Cans from this run were manufactured bearing the Continental Can Company imprint. Variations exist among surviving examples, featuring subtle differences in mandatory text, such as the presence or absence of explicit alcohol content statements to comply with differing state distribution regulations across the region.

Representing the final years of packaging at the historic facility in Great Falls, the Brewing Company of Montana Bohemian Club tab top serves as an important artifact of mid-20th-century American brewing consolidation.
