Bonanza Premium Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Garden State's Bonanza Premium Can

The Bonanza Premium Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can represents a notable piece of mid-Atlantic brewing history. The can lists its mandatory brewing credit as Garden State of Hammonton, New Jersey, an operating trade name associated with Eastern Brewing Corporation. Eastern Brewing was widely known in the breweriana world for producing an extensive array of contract brews, regional brands, and budget-friendly labels.

Graphic Design and Visual Attributes

The label features bold Western-style typography for the "BONANZA" lettering, complemented by clean graphic striping and a distinct white band positioned directly beneath the primary brand name. The reverse face mirrors the primary branding, providing a balanced two-sided display.

Manufacturing and Can Construction

Fabricated as a straight-wall steel can, this container utilizes glued-seam (cemented seam) side construction. Cans from this run frequently feature manufacturer markings from the American Can Company, including the classic "A" emblem and regional manufacturing plant codes.

Variations and Regional Significance

For collectors of New Jersey breweriana and Eastern Brewing Corporation labels, the Hammonton mandatory text marks this as a regional release. Variations of the Bonanza Premium brand exist under alternative brewery trade names and locations, including Old Dutch of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
