Brucks Jubilee Beer Quart

Brucks Jubilee Quart Cone Top

Brewed by The Bruckmann Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Brucks Jubilee Beer Quart represents a celebrated chapter in Ohio's storied brewing heritage. Bruckmann was one of Cincinnati's venerable brewing institutions, having traced its roots back to 1856 in the Cumminsville neighborhood. The company achieved legendary status locally by staying active throughout Prohibition with cereal beverages and near beer, allowing it to become the first brewery in the city to legally ship beer the moment Prohibition ended.

The Jubilee line was introduced as a celebratory brand honoring the brewery's long heritage. Packaged in a 32-ounce quart format manufactured by Crown Cork & Seal, this can provided consumers with a generous serving size designed for sharing during an era when large-format containers were gaining popularity for social gatherings.

The graphic design prominently showcases bold Jubilee script alongside the classic Bruck's branding. Variations of this quart are known to exist among collectors, featuring differences in side-panel text, such as varying anniversary milestone statements and period markings like the Internal Revenue Tax Paid (IRTP) designation.

For breweriana enthusiasts focused on Ohio brewing history and classic large-format cans, the Brucks Jubilee Beer Quart remains an iconic display piece tied to one of the Queen City's most enduring pre- and post-Prohibition breweries.
