Busch Bavarian Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Busch Bavarian Tab Top Can

The Busch Bavarian Beer 12 oz straight steel can was produced by Anheuser-Busch, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. Introduced to expand the brewery's portfolio with a Bavarian-themed brand, Busch Bavarian featured alpine-inspired imagery and wide market distribution.

This specific release is distinguished by a mandatory panel listing nine brewery cities, paired with blue glued seam lines along the steel can seam. Notably, it bears a distinctive textual misprint in the mandatory or promotional text, where the word "NATURAL" is misspelled as "NATRUAL."

Among collectors, differentiating this can from closely related variations is notoriously difficult, as the exact distinguishing factors between similar releases remain ambiguous. Such printing anomalies and production variations make it a fascinating study in mid-century packaging and manufacturing shifts.
