Champagne Velvet Beer Pint Can

Atlantic Brewing's Pint Classic

The Champagne Velvet Beer Pint Can produced by the Atlantic Brewing Company of Chicago, Illinois, represents a notable chapter in twentieth-century Midwest brewing heritage. Originally created in Indiana by the Terre Haute Brewing Company as their flagship label, the Champagne Velvet brand was acquired and packaged by Chicago's Atlantic Brewing Company following industry consolidations.

Atlantic issued Champagne Velvet in the larger 16-ounce pint format to cater to patrons seeking a larger serving size. The pint can's label design features the distinctive flowing Champagne Velvet script set against a vibrant background, accompanied by the brand's long-running heritage tagline touting the "Million Dollar Flavor" and the slogan "...For The Good Life".

Among breweriana enthusiasts, these Chicago-issued pint cans are recognized for several variations. Differences exist in the mandatory side-panel brewery text, where some printings cite multiple brewing cities alongside Chicago, while others list a single municipal mandatory. In addition, slight manufacturing variations appear across can seam types and can maker stamps.

Because pint-sized cans were generally run in lower production volumes than standard 12-ounce cans, the 16-ounce Atlantic Brewing issue remains a sought-after piece for regional Chicago and Indiana breweriana collections.
