Champagne Velvet Gold Label Beer Flat Top Can

Champagne Velvet Gold Label Can

Produced by the Terre Haute Brewing Company in Terre Haute, Indiana, the Champagne Velvet Gold Label flat top can represents one of the most celebrated mid-20th-century regional brewery releases. Terre Haute Brewing Company established Champagne Velvet as its flagship brand, promoting it under the iconic slogan, "The Beer with the Million Dollar Flavor".

Manufactured using the American Can Company "Keglined" process, the graphic presentation features prominent arched lettering set across a metallic gold label emblem framed by decorative crests. A defining aspect of this release for breweriana enthusiasts is Terre Haute's multi-color design approach. Rather than restricting the packaging to a single palette, the brewery released the cans across various background hues, including shades of green, purple, light blue, and blue-grey. Displayed together on retail shelves, these alternating colors formed an eye-catching, rainbow-like presentation.

In addition to the different background colors, variations exist featuring different mandatory text statements, canning codes, and state tax lid stampings. As Terre Haute Brewing Company was once among Indiana's most prominent brewing powerhouses, these cans serve as a classic centerpiece for collectors aiming to assemble full multi-color sets.
