Coburger Extra Dry Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Coburger Extra Dry Beer Can

Coburger Extra Dry Beer was distributed under the Old Dutch Brewing Company banner, an alternate operating trade name used by the Horlacher Brewing Company located in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

The can features traditional Bavarian-inspired crest graphics, bold serif lettering, and stylized script accenting the "Extra Dry" designation. Horlacher utilized the Old Dutch identity alongside several other trade names to diversify its product reach and distribute specialized labels throughout Pennsylvania and neighboring East Coast markets.

For breweriana collectors, this can serves as a notable artifact from Allentown's extensive brewing history. Horlacher was an enduring fixture of the Lehigh Valley brewing scene before ceasing operations in the late twentieth century. Among collectors, variations of this can exist featuring slight differences in can company manufacturing marks, mandatory text placement, and metallic finish tones.
