Country Club Stout Malt Liquor 8 Oz Tab Top Can

8 Oz Country Club Stout Can

Country Club Malt Liquor holds a foundational place in American brewing history as one of the pioneering brands that defined and popularized the malt liquor category. Originally introduced by the historic M. K. Goetz Brewing Company of St. Joseph, Missouri, the brand transitioned under the ownership of Pearl Brewing Company following Pearl's acquisition of Goetz.

The 8-ounce tab top iteration of Country Club Stout Malt Liquor represents a distinctive smaller-format package produced during Pearl's operation of the St. Joseph facility. While standard 12-ounce containers accounted for the bulk of distribution, 8-ounce cans were distributed as compact single-serving alternatives. The "Stout Malt Liquor" designation served as a specialized tier within the Country Club portfolio.

The label graphics display classic Country Club branding, featuring bold script typography and emblem accents. Mandatory text on the can references Pearl Brewing Company alongside the St. Joseph, Missouri location, serving as a tangible connection to the historic St. Joseph plant before production was consolidated.

For breweriana collectors, this can is a notable item within small-can and malt liquor categories. Known variations exist across production runs, distinguished by subtle differences in can manufacturer marks, typography placement, and mandatory legal statements.
