Drewrys Extra Dry Beer Flat Top Can

Drewrys Extra Dry Flat Top

The Drewrys Extra Dry Beer can represents a standout era of Midwestern brewing history, produced by Drewrys Ltd. U.S.A., Inc. at its flagship facility in South Bend, Indiana. Following the repeal of Prohibition, the Canadian-founded company expanded into the United States by acquiring the historic Muessel Brewing Company plant, rapidly establishing itself as a major regional powerhouse.

Graphic Design and Mascot

The can's visual presentation prominently reflects the brewery's Canadian heritage. The label centers on the iconic Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer ("Mountie") mascot, frequently set against a large, stylized Gothic letter "D". Standard graphic executions featured bold metallic finishes, crisp red and green accents, and prominent script proclaiming it as an "Extra Dry Beer".
