Drewrys Extra Dry Beer Flat Top Can

Drewrys Extra Dry Flat Top Can

The Drewrys Extra Dry Beer flat top can represents a classic mid-century release from Drewry's Ltd., based in South Bend, Indiana. Originally established in Canada, the Drewrys enterprise expanded its presence south of the border following the repeal of Prohibition, turning its South Bend brewery into a major regional producer across the American Midwest.

Drewrys cans from this era are particularly celebrated among breweriana enthusiasts for their graphic sports and outdoor activity themes. This specific issue highlights a striking yellow and silver design palette. While the brewery produced multiple illustrated variations depicting athletic and recreational scenes, those featuring the yellow and silver color scheme represent a distinct and popular segment of the series for collectors assembling sports-themed sets.

Showcasing the iconic Drewrys Extra Dry label graphics alongside its South Bend, Indiana brewery mandatory text, this container remains a prized and quintessential example of mid-century Midwestern beer packaging.
