Drewrys Extra Dry Beer Pint Can

Drewrys Extra Dry Pint Overview

Drewrys Ltd. U.S.A., Inc. was established in South Bend, Indiana, following the repeal of Prohibition, tracing its roots to Canadian brewing origins. The South Bend facility grew rapidly to become one of the Midwest's prominent regional brewing powerhouses, recognized for its Canadian Mountie mascot and bold Gothic "D" insignia.

Among collector containers, the Drewrys Extra Dry Beer Pint is a celebrated staple of Indiana breweriana. The 16-ounce format provides an expanded canvas that prominently showcases the Mountie illustration and the brewery's distinctive styling. The brand is especially well known in the hobby for its graphic variations, which include different background color schemes and the highly prized character face illustrated sets.

At the height of production at the South Bend plant, Drewrys was packaging well over a million barrels annually before operations eventually moved out of the historic facility. Today, the Extra Dry pint can remains a sought-after piece for enthusiasts of large-format packaging, mid-century advertising art, and Midwestern industrial history.
