Durst Premium Quality Beer Flat Top Can

Durst Beer from Atlantic Brewing

Produced under the Atlantic Brewing Company name in Spokane, Washington, this flat top can represents a notable piece of Pacific Northwest breweriana. While the Durst brand was also marketed out of Chicago, this specific release is closely tied to Spokane's brewing landscape through Bohemian Breweries, which frequently utilized corporate aliases—including Atlantic Brewing Co., Best Brewing Co., and Durst Brewing Co.—to market different labels across regional distribution channels.

The can features prominent "Durst" branding with "Premium Quality Beer" labeling and Spokane mandatory text. Examples were produced by major can fabricators such as American Can Company and Continental Can Company, with the manufacturer marks visible along the seam.

Among collectors, the Durst label is recognized for a range of variations across its production lifespan. These differences include variations in mandatory city listings, changes in can manufacturer trademarks, and differing mandatory alcohol statements required by various state distribution laws.
