Elm Grove Wisconsin Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Elm Grove Wisconsin Beer Can

The Elm Grove Wisconsin Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can was produced by the Walter Brewing Company of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Walter Brewing was a long-standing regional brewer located in the Chippewa Valley, operating out of facilities situated along Elm Street—a geographic tie reflected directly in the Elm Grove brand name.

Design and Graphics

The can features a clean white background framed by bold green banding. The centerpiece of the label displays a distinctive green peaked crest or house-shaped insignia bearing the stylized "ELM GROVE" moniker with prominent yellow and white lettering. The lower section identifies the contents simply as "Wisconsin Beer," maintaining the regional identity Walter Brewing cultivated throughout its operational history.

Variations and Collector Interest

Breweriana collectors recognize variations of the Elm Grove tab top container. Print runs differ in their bottom border trims, background metal exposure, and minor shifts in the mandatory text layout noting the Eau Claire brewing facility. Alongside its sibling release, Elm Grove Bock, this can remains a popular addition for collectors focusing on independent Upper Midwest breweries.
