Fox Deluxe Beer Flat Top Can

Fox Deluxe Flat Top Beer Can

The Fox Deluxe Beer flat top can representing Peter Fox Brewing Co. of Waukesha, Wisconsin, stands as a notable piece of Midwestern breweriana history. Originating from the brewing empire established by the Fox brothers, the Fox Deluxe label expanded across multiple regional facilities, including operations connected with the historic brewing hub in Waukesha.

The can design showcases the bold, classic Fox Deluxe script and clean mid-century trade dress. Cans produced under the Peter Fox name in Waukesha often highlight the regional brewing connection, occasionally referencing the famous local spring waters that made Waukesha a prominent brewing center.

Within the collector community, known variations of this can exist, distinguished by elements such as the color of the typography—including versions printed with brown text and others with black text—as well as minor shifts in mandatory text placement and canning manufacturer marks from companies such as National Can Company. Because of the corporate interplay between the Peter Fox and Fox Head brewing entities, cans carrying the Peter Fox imprint from Waukesha serve as key historical artifacts documenting the transition eras of mid-century Wisconsin beer manufacturing.
