Fox Deluxe Bock Flat Top Can

Fox Deluxe Bock Waukesha Can

The Fox Deluxe Bock flat top can represents a notable chapter in Midwestern brewing history, connecting the legacy of the Peter Fox Brewing Company with the historic brewing hub of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Originally established in Chicago after the repeal of Prohibition, Peter Fox Brewing expanded its footprint and brand presence into Wisconsin through operations connected to Waukesha brewing facilities.

Bock beers were traditionally brewed as seasonal offerings released in late winter and early spring. Because breweries packaged bock in limited seasonal batches compared to their flagship pale lagers, surviving bock cans are significantly more difficult for breweriana enthusiasts to acquire.

The can design highlights mid-century bock motifs alongside the prominent Fox Deluxe typography. The Waukesha mandatory imprint is especially significant to regional collectors, linking the Fox Deluxe name directly to Waukesha's storied brewing heritage.

Collectors recognize variations across the Fox Deluxe lineup, noting differences in manufacturing marks, mandatory text layout, and color accents between production batches. The Peter Fox Waukesha bock stands out as a prized specialty can from this era of Midwestern brewing.
