Fox Head Bock Flat Top Can

Fox Head Bock Sheboygan Flat Top

The Fox Head Bock flat top can represents a notable chapter in Midwestern brewing history following the acquisition of the Fox Head brand by the G. Heileman Brewing Company. Originally founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Fox Head built a strong regional reputation around its spring-water-brewed products and iconic fox mascot. Following corporate restructuring and Heileman's regional expansion, packaging operations shifted across multiple facilities, including the Sheboygan, Wisconsin plant where this can was produced under the mandatory text specifying "Fox Head, Division of G. Heileman".

Canned bock beers from Wisconsin breweries of this era hold special appeal for breweriana enthusiasts, as seasonal bocks were traditionally packaged in substantially smaller quantities than flagship lagers. The label design highlights the traditional Fox Head identity, pairing bold bock lettering with the distinguished fox illustration.

Variations in metallic paint, text placement, and can manufacturer stamps exist across production batches from this period. For collectors specializing in Wisconsin brewing history, seasonal bock issues, or mid-century brewery consolidations, this Sheboygan-labeled flat top stands as an enduring piece of regional breweriana.
