Maier's Golden Crown Draft Can

Golden Crown Draft is a recognizable label produced by the Maier Brewing Company of Los Angeles, California. Maier held a prominent place in Southern California brewing history, famous for producing its flagship Brew 102 alongside a broad roster of proprietary and contract labels distributed across the West Coast.

The Golden Crown Draft can design features a bold presentation highlighted by an ornate crown emblem set against clean, striking typography. Manufactured on straight steel bodies, these 12-ounce containers were produced through major industrial can manufacturers, including the National Can Company and the American Can Company.

For breweriana enthusiasts, Golden Crown Draft serves as an important artifact of Los Angeles' industrial brewing heritage. Variations exist among preserved examples, characterized by differences in side-seam fabrication techniques, can manufacturer markings, and lid stamping details. The label reflects an active era of regional beverage packaging, making it a staple addition for collectors dedicated to California brewery history.
