Golden Glow Grade A Beer Can

The Golden Glow Grade A Beer Flat Top Can was produced by the Golden West Brewing Company in Oakland, California. Operating out of its historic facility at 7th and Kirkham Streets in West Oakland, Golden West was a cornerstone of East Bay brewing, with Golden Glow serving as its primary brand line.

Design and Branding

Produced under American Can Company specifications, the can includes the "Internal Revenue Tax Paid" (IRTP) mandatory statement. Within the collector community, variations of the Golden Glow flat top are recognized, featuring subtle differences in mandatory text formatting, trademark notices, and factory codes.
