Great Falls Select Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Great Falls Select Tab Top Can

Great Falls Breweries, located in Great Falls, Montana, produced Great Falls Select Beer as its flagship offering. Long considered a hallmark of Big Sky Country brewing heritage, the label was a dominant fixture across regional taverns and retailers throughout the region.

This tab top can represents the packaging produced directly in Montana prior to the brand's acquisition and eventual production transfer by Portland-based Blitz-Weinhard. The graphic design showcases the established Great Falls Select branding and bold typography that made the can an enduring emblem of mid-century Montana brewing.

Among breweriana collectors, several variations of this can exist, primarily differentiated by minor adjustments in mandatory brewery text, manufacturer markings, and top lid styles. Because regional breweries in Montana were limited in comparison to more heavily populated states, Great Falls Select tab top cans remain a sought-after staple for collectors focusing on Western and Mountain State breweriana.
