Great Falls Select Beer Flat Top Can

Great Falls Select Beer Can

The Great Falls Select Beer flat top represents a celebrated chapter in Montana brewing heritage, originating from Great Falls Breweries, Inc. in Great Falls, Montana. Founded by regional brewing magnate Emil Sick following the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, the brewery established Great Falls Select as one of the most prominent regional beer brands throughout the Pacific Northwest and the Rocky Mountain area.

The can's graphic presentation showcases the brand's bold typography over a distinctive red banner motif, accented by Western-themed design elements and clear Great Falls brewery mandatory markings. As one of Montana's signature independent operations prior to brewery buyouts and consolidations in the late 1960s, containers from Great Falls Breweries occupy an important place in regional commercial history.

Several variations exist among flat top examples produced by the brewery. These variations typically feature subtle differences in mandatory company text, alcohol content notices, and slight modifications in border details and banner typography. For collectors interested in Western breweriana, this container remains a cornerstone representation of mid-century Montana brewing history.
