Hoffman House Premium Beer Flat Top Can

Pueblo's Hoffman House Flat Top

The Hoffman House Premium Beer flat top can represents an intriguing chapter in Colorado brewing history, tied directly to Pueblo's Walter Brewing Company. While Walter was widely recognized for its regional flagship labels, the company also packaged beer under alternate designations, including the Hoffman trade name.

The can design prominently displays classic mid-century typography accented by the slogan, "A Masterpiece Of The Brewer's Art". Variations exist across different production runs, primarily found in the mandatory brewery information text. While some examples list Walter Brewing Company directly, versions identifying the brewer as Hoffman Beverage Co. or Hoffman Brewing Co. in Pueblo are notably tougher to come across. Among regional beer can collectors, these specific Hoffman-designated cans are regarded as classic "sleeper" items that are frequently pursued to complete Colorado brewery rosters.

Manufactured in a standard 12-ounce steel format, the Hoffman House flat top remains an essential artifact of Pueblo's industrial brewing heritage and a standout crossover piece for collectors of both Walter Brewing brands and Colorado regional cans.
