Holland Brand Premium Beer Flat Top Can

Holland Brand Premium Flat Top

The Holland Brand Premium Beer Flat Top Can was produced by Eastern Brewing in Hammonton, New Jersey. Operating in southern New Jersey, the facility was a prolific regional packaging powerhouse known for producing a wide array of house brands and contract labels, with Holland Brand serving as one of its mainstay offerings.

Design and Aesthetics

The can features an Old World graphic identity inspired by traditional Dutch brewing imagery. Its lithographed exterior showcases heraldic crest motifs, classic decorative styling, and bold typography set against a distinctive background with contrasting deep red, cream, and metallic accents. The overall graphic composition was designed to evoke European heritage and classic brewing tradition.

Variations and Collector Context

Throughout the brand's production run at the Hammonton facility, several label variations were manufactured. These variations reflect subtle typography differences, adjustments in mandatory legal and corporate text panels, and varying canning codes or state tax markings. Today, this flat top can is a staple example of mid-century New Jersey breweriana.
