Horlacher Premium Pilsner Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Horlacher 85th Anniversary Can

The Horlacher Premium Pilsner Beer can is a commemorative straight steel container issued by the Horlacher Brewing Company of Allentown, Pennsylvania. Horlacher was an enduring fixture of the Lehigh Valley brewing community, with roots tracing back to the late nineteenth century at North Third and Gordon Streets.

This specific release highlights the brewery's long heritage by featuring dedicated "85th Anniversary" commemorative messaging printed on the reverse side. The front panel showcases the traditional Horlacher Premium Pilsner branding, while the back panel pays tribute to the company's historical milestone.

Horlacher produced multiple runs of its flagship pilsner cans across different eras, resulting in collector-recognized variations that feature differing anniversary text, mandatory government wording placements, and seam formats. As one of the final commemorative issues before the Allentown brewery permanently ceased operations in the late 1970s, this can stands as a significant artifact of Pennsylvania's regional brewing history.
