Jet Stout Malt Liquor Flat Top Can

Canadian Ace Jet Stout Malt Liquor

The Jet Stout Malt Liquor flat top can was produced by the Canadian Ace Brewing Company of Chicago, Illinois. Operating out of the historic brewing facility on South Emerald Avenue, Canadian Ace produced an extensive array of proprietary labels, contract brands, and specialized malt beverage lines.

The Jet brand features bold mid-century design aesthetics with an emphasis on strong, modern typography. The face of the can prominently displays metallic copper and gold tones in the stylized "Jet" lettering, set against a deep, contrasting background suited to a stout malt liquor. The label is particularly notable for blending two distinct beverage categories—stout and malt liquor—which served as a specialized marketing angle to highlight full-bodied strength.

Among breweriana enthusiasts, the can is closely associated with the diverse corporate umbrella of Canadian Ace, which also utilized associated trade names such as Westminster Brewing Company across regional distribution networks. Known variations of the can exist, reflecting differences in mandatory state alcohol statements, regulatory text, and can manufacturer stamps from producers like the National Can Corporation. The bold metallic accents and Chicago brewing connection make this flat top a recognized piece of mid-century packaging history.
