Katz Premium Beer Flat Top Can

Drewry's Katz Premium Beer

Produced for the Katz brand by Drewry's Ltd., U.S.A. Inc. in South Bend, Indiana, this 12-ounce flat top is a well-known regional label from the mid-century era. The can design features a distinctive black cat graphic set against bold promotional lettering across the label faces.

Katz Premium was packaged under contract agreements, with production handled across various regional facilities including Drewry's in Indiana as well as Chicago-area operations. Drewry's-filled containers carry the South Bend mandatory brewer identification and were fabricated by the National Can Company.

Animal-themed breweriana has long maintained a dedicated following among collectors, and this feline-branded design remains a popular entry in the field. Beyond the standard 12-ounce flat top container, the Katz Premium branding was utilized on other can styles and volume formats during its production history.
