Keeley Premium Quality Beer Flat Top Can

Keeley Flat Top by Cumberland

The Keeley Premium Quality Beer flat top container represents a notable regional crossover in mid-century American breweriana. Originally established as a prominent flagship label of the Keeley Brewing Company of Chicago, Illinois, the Keeley brand was also produced and packaged under arrangement by the Cumberland Brewing Company in Cumberland, Maryland.

The can's face features the established Keeley script and insignia alongside the "Premium Quality Beer" designation. The side mandatory panel bears the brewery information identifying the Cumberland Brewing Company of Cumberland, Maryland, making this release particularly significant to collectors of Western Maryland and Appalachian brewing history.

Because the Keeley label was produced across multiple facilities over its marketing life, collectors actively document known variations in can manufacturer hallmarks, mandatory text arrangements, and minor coloration differences across production batches. For collectors interested in Maryland brewery rosters or the distribution history of legacy regional labels, this container is a noteworthy historical piece.
