Krueger Beer Flat Top Can

Krueger Beer Cranston Production

The Krueger Beer flat top can bearing the Cranston, Rhode Island mandatory represents a distinct chapter in the history of one of America's most famous canning pioneers. While Gottfried Krueger Brewing Company originally achieved historical fame out of Newark, New Jersey as the first brewery to commercially package beer in cans, production of the Krueger label later shifted to Rhode Island under the Narragansett Brewing Company facility in Cranston.

Design and Iconography

Cranston-mandated Krueger flat tops retain the hallmark branding developed during the brewery's long history. The design showcases the iconic "K-Man" mascot—a stylized figure shaped like the letter "K" dressed as a waiter carrying a tray—which served as the brand's signature character for decades. The face of the can highlights bold brand typography, the Krueger crest, and the familiar slogan "Traditionally In Good Taste".
