Lucky Lager Age Dated Beer Flat Top Can

Lucky Lager Age Dated Flat Top

The Lucky Lager Age Dated Beer flat top from Vancouver, Washington, represents a defining chapter in Pacific Northwest brewing history. Produced by the Lucky Lager Brewing Company (originally founded as the General Brewing Corporation), the brand expanded into Washington by acquiring the historic Star Brewery property in Vancouver. The Vancouver facility served as a major production and packaging hub supplying distributors across the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.

The central feature of this design is the prominent "Age Dated Beer" banner. Lucky Lager utilized age dating as a focal marketing campaign to emphasize freshness and quality control, assuring consumers that the product had completed a verified lagering period prior to release. The visual design centers on the brand's recognizable red and white color scheme, featuring bold Lucky Lager typography alongside the age-dating guarantee.

For breweriana collectors, the Vancouver imprint is especially notable. Cans filled at this plant carry mandatory brewery location text identifying Vancouver, Washington, distinguishing them from sister runs packaged at facilities in San Francisco and Azusa. Multiple variations are recognized among collectors, displaying differences in mandatory city text arrangements near the seam, canning line codes, and can manufacturer stamps such as the American Can Company "Keglined" logo.

With its direct connection to Washington state brewing heritage and mid-century marketing strategies, the Lucky Lager Age Dated can remains a staple piece for regional container collections.
