National Bohemian Pale Beer Flat Top Can

National Bohemian Orlando Flat Top

The National Bohemian Pale Beer flat top can represents a regional branch-plant issue from The National Brewing Company, bearing the mandatory brewery listing for Orlando, Florida. Although National Bohemian—popularly known as "Natty Boh"—built its heritage as Baltimore's flagship brand, the company expanded southward to supply the growing Florida market by operating a production facility in Orlando.

The can design prominently showcases the famous company mascot, Mr. Boh, featuring his signature handlebar mustache and single winking eye. The mandatory side text designates the brewing origin in Orlando, distinguishing it from the primary Maryland releases.

For collectors of southern breweriana and branch-plant issues, Orlando canning runs hold special interest because the facility was active for a relatively brief chapter in the company's history before Florida operations shifted elsewhere in the state. Known variations exist across this run, including differences between metallic silver and white enamel finishes, as well as distinct lid impressions such as Florida state tax vanity lids.
