Neuweiler Light Lager Beer Flat Top Can

Neuweiler Light Lager Flat Top

The Neuweiler Light Lager Beer flat top can represents a prominent chapter in Pennsylvania brewing history, produced by Louis F. Neuweiler's Sons in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Operating out of their landmark facility at Front and Gordon Streets, Neuweiler was once Allentown's largest employer and a powerhouse regional brand distributed across the Lehigh Valley and surrounding markets.

The can features bold Neuweiler script set against clean mid-century graphic elements and the traditional brewery insignia. Neuweiler utilized major container manufacturers such as Crown Cork & Seal to produce their flat top cans.

Among breweriana collectors, several variations are known to exist across different production runs, distinguished by minor differences in manufacturer marks, mandatory brewery text layouts, and subtle graphic alterations. Following the brewery's closure, the Neuweiler Light Lager flat top has remained a desirable artifact from the heyday of independent Pennsylvania brewing.
