Old Bohemian Bock 12 Oz Tab/Insert Top Can

Old Bohemian Bock from Hammonton

The Old Bohemian Bock 12-ounce can is a notable piece of New Jersey brewing heritage, produced by the Eastern Brewing Corporation in Hammonton. While Eastern Brewing was widely recognized throughout the Mid-Atlantic region for its extensive contract brewing operations and private-label supermarket lines, the Old Bohemian label served as one of the facility's primary house brands.

As a seasonal bock release, this container is appreciated in collector circles for its bold graphic presentation featuring classic bock styling. Eastern operated as the solitary brewing establishment in Hammonton, making its proprietary branded cans prominent staples across the regional distribution network.

Collectors recognize several design variations across Old Bohemian Bock tab and insert top cans, characterized by minor alterations in mandatory legal text, side-panel layout placements, and lid stampings. Eastern's diverse packaging runs and supplier adjustments produced distinct variations that remain sought-after additions for regional breweriana specialists.
