Old Bohemian Light Beer Flat Top Can

Harvard Old Bohemian Light Beer

The Old Bohemian Light Beer flat top represents a notable release from the historic Harvard Brewing Company of Lowell, Massachusetts. Originally established as Consumers Brewing Company before rebranding before the turn of the century, the Lowell facility developed into one of New England's major regional breweries. Following Prohibition, the company adapted to modern packaging trends and introduced canned offerings across several product lines.

Harvard Brewing Company utilized the Old Bohemian label to expand its portfolio alongside its core brand offerings. Manufactured using American Can Company's standard canning specifications, the can features the classic "Keglined" branding along the side panel.

For regional breweriana historians, the can is celebrated as a classic piece of Massachusetts brewing history. Notable text variations exist across production runs, with some variations substituting the standard canning text on the side panel for regional promotional slogans such as "A Real New England Beer". Because the brewery distributed primarily across New England before ceasing all operations, this label remains a sought-after staple for collectors dedicated to northeastern brewery history.
