Olympia Pale Export Type Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Olympia 3-Piece Aluminum Tab Top

This 12-ounce tab top container represents an interesting phase in container manufacturing for the Olympia Brewing Company of Olympia, Washington. Unlike standard modern seamless two-piece aluminum cans, this example utilizes a three-piece aluminum construction featuring crimped seams. In collector reference guides, distinctions between closely related entries in this specific run remain subtle, reflecting minor manufacturing or print variations across production batches.

The label graphics center on Olympia's long-running iconography, most notably the "Good Luck" horseshoe framing the Tumwater falls and early brewery grounds, flanked by hop cones and barley. Beneath the scene, the can prominently features the company's trademark slogan, "It's the Water," printed in red script alongside the traditional statement highlighting the solvent properties and purity of the local artesian well water used at the Tumwater facility. The bottom rim area displays the mandatory volume statement in bold lettering reading "NET CONTENTS 12 FLUID OUNCES."
