Owen Brew Lager Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Walter's Owen Brew Lager Beer

Produced by the historic Walter Brewing Company of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the Owen Brew Lager Beer can represents a notable chapter in upper Midwestern brewing history. The Walter family established deep roots in Wisconsin brewing during the late 19th century, operating their prominent Eau Claire facility for generations.

As regional breweries navigated increasing competition from large national brewing conglomerates, facilities like Walter's maintained production volume through a combination of proprietary flagships, regional brands, and specialized contract labels. Owen Brew was among the distinct regional labels filled at the Eau Claire plant.

The can design is celebrated for its clean, classic presentation and prominent brand lettering. Variations exist among surviving examples, including differences in color schemes such as red and yellow label motifs. For collectors of Wisconsin breweriana, the Owen Brew can remains a sought-after piece that highlights the legacy of Eau Claire's long-standing brewing tradition.
