Rainier Old Stock Ale 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Rainier Old Stock Ale Tab Top

Produced by Rainier Brewing Company in Seattle, Washington, the Rainier Old Stock Ale 12 oz tab top can represents a celebrated Pacific Northwest brewing staple. Long a regional favorite alongside the flagship Rainier lager, Old Stock Ale developed a dedicated following throughout Washington, Oregon, and neighboring markets.

The can design prominently features the distinguished deep green and gold palette associated with Rainier's historic ale line, complemented by traditional heraldic motifs and the classic "Plus Vitae" Latin motto. The bold Rainier script anchors the face of the can above the "Old Stock Ale" designation, capturing a distinctive mid-century packaging aesthetic from the Seattle icon.

Collectors cataloging this Pacific Northwest classic identify variations across different manufacturing runs. Known variations include cans produced with differing top lid colors, rocket-bottom profiles, and subtle adjustments in manufacturer stamping and mandatory brewery text.
