Reidenbach Extra Dry Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Canadian Ace Reidenbach Can

Reidenbach Extra Dry Beer represents a notable chapter in Midwestern contract packaging, produced by the Canadian Ace Brewing Company of Chicago, Illinois. Canadian Ace, operating from a historic facility on Chicago's South Side, sustained significant packaging volume by canning regional labels and specialty brands alongside its primary house lines.

The Reidenbach label was utilized across multiple Midwestern facilities, including Atlas Brewing Company in Chicago and the Kingsbury division in Wisconsin. Cans bearing the Canadian Ace mandatory text are especially sought after by Chicago breweriana enthusiasts, illustrating the brewery's extensive contract partnerships across the region.

Graphically, the Reidenbach Extra Dry Beer design centers on bold brand lettering complemented by traditional crest motifs. Among collectors, known variations include differences between enamel paint applications and metallic finishes, reflecting shifting lithography techniques and can manufacturing runs from the era.
