Schlitz Stout Malt Liquor 24 Oz Stay Top Can

Schlitz Stout 24 Oz Stay Top

Produced by the Jos. Schlitz Brewing Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Schlitz Stout Malt Liquor 24-ounce can is a notable large-format release in the company's historical malt beverage portfolio. Jos. Schlitz utilized its iconic bull mascot across packaging and nationwide advertising to distinguish its malt liquor lineup from standard flagship lagers.

The oversized 24-ounce tall boy format was engineered for high shelf visibility and single-serve retail sale. The can's graphics prominently display the charging bull emblem alongside bold serif branding. Text printed across the can reflects the multi-facility footprint of the Jos. Schlitz Brewing Company, referencing various regional brewing hubs such as Milwaukee, Los Angeles, Tampa, Longview, and Winston-Salem.

Among breweriana enthusiasts focusing on malt liquor labels and tall boy cans, this can is a popular catalog piece. Variations exist across different production runs, primarily distinguished by differing mandatory plant city lists and slight adjustments in lithography details.
