Sheridan Premium Beer Flat Top Can

Sheridan Flat Top by Walter Brewing

The Sheridan Premium Beer flat top can represents a notable chapter in Rocky Mountain regional brewing history, produced by the Walter Brewing Company out of Pueblo, Colorado. Walter Brewing acquired the legacy Sheridan brand following the closure of the historic Sheridan Brewing Company of Wyoming, continuing the distribution of the label across the Mountain West.

Visually, the can is celebrated among regional breweriana collectors for its classic Western motif, showcasing a cowboy riding a bucking bronco alongside bold frontier-style lettering and the regional slogan "Brewed With Colorado Mountain Water". Manufactured primarily by the Continental Can Company for Walter's Pueblo packaging line, the design incorporates vibrant contrasting colors and bold lithography that emphasize its Western roots.

For collectors, variations exist across production runs. These differences are primarily distinguished by mandatory alcohol content declarations, tax stamp notations on the lids, and subtle manufacturing plant codes on the seam. The can remains a sought-after piece for those specializing in Colorado breweriana, Western-themed cans, and the historic portfolio of the Walter Brewing Company.
