Silver Fox Beer Quart

Fox Deluxe Silver Fox Quart

The Silver Fox Beer quart cone top was produced by the Fox Deluxe Brewing Company of Indiana, Inc., located in Marion, Indiana. Fox Deluxe, initially established by the Peter Fox Brewing Company of Chicago, expanded its regional footprint across the Midwest with operations in Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana.

This 32-ounce container features Continental Can Company's "Cap Sealed" quart cone top format. The front display showcases the brand name rendered in distinct blackletter gothic script, complemented by the red-lettered slogan "The Nation's Premium" above the bold block lettering for "BEER". Encircling the central white oval is a textured copper-toned textured border that integrates the mandatory brewery credit: "Brewed and Filled by Fox Deluxe Brewing Co. of Ind. Inc., Marion, Ind."

Produced during the Internal Revenue Tax Paid (IRTP) era, this quart-sized can represents a notable mid-twentieth-century package from Fox Deluxe's Indiana branch.
