Silver Peak Beer 12 Oz Zip/Tab Top Can

Tivoli's Silver Peak Beer Can

Produced by the historic Tivoli Brewing Company of Denver, Colorado, the Silver Peak Beer 12 oz can represents an iconic era of regional brewing in the Rocky Mountain West. Tivoli, operating out of Denver's historic Auraria neighborhood, was one of the largest and longest-running independent brewing establishments in Colorado before ending original operations in 1969.

Graphic Design & Branding

Silver Peak was introduced as part of Tivoli's diverse lineup of mid-century brands. The can design highlights its Colorado origins, featuring the prominent phrase "Brewed With Colorado Mountain Water" alongside clean mid-century typography and crisp mountain-themed imagery. The bold styling was designed to compete on regional shelves against larger national macro-breweries expanding across the American West.

Manufacturing & Collector Variations

Cans for Silver Peak Beer were primarily manufactured with the American Can Company's recognizable trade mark. Among breweriana collectors, several variations in factory markings, mandatory legal statements, and lid specifications are known to circulate. Because Tivoli produced multiple short-lived off-label brands during its final decade in Denver, original Silver Peak cans hold a celebrated place in Rocky Mountain breweriana history.
