Rochester's Old Ox Cart Flat Top

Produced by the Standard Rochester Brewing Company in Rochester, New York, the Standard Old Ox Cart Dry Beer can represents a notable piece of mid-century Upstate New York brewing history. Design and Branding

The can features rustic thematic imagery centered on an ox cart, paired with crisp lettering and the brewery's trademark phrase, "Brewed And Packaged The Modernized Way". Manufactured primarily with Crown Cork & Seal can bodies, the design incorporates a distinct color scheme that contrasts bold graphic paneling against clean metallic borders.

Known Variations and Collectibility

Variations include differences in the placement of the union label relative to the seam, as well as minor textual updates in the brewery name and mandatory statements. These regional distribution cans remain a staple for enthusiasts dedicated to preserving Western New York's commercial brewing heritage.
