Tca Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

TCA Beer from Duncan Brewing

The TCA Beer 12-ounce tab top can represents a notable crossover between regional contract brewing and athletic club merchandising. Packaged by Duncan Brewing Company in Auburndale, Florida, the brand was produced specifically for the Tennis Center of America (also affiliated with Tennis Clubs of America).

Design and Visual Elements

The can's graphic layout is centered entirely around a tennis theme. The primary display panel features an action illustration of a tennis player in mid-motion. Flanking the main graphic, the side panels incorporate complementary sporting imagery, including tennis racquets and tennis balls, alongside prominent "TCA BEER" lettering.

Brewery Background

Duncan Brewing Company was established in Auburndale by Lemoyne Nathan Duncan. The facility was well known for producing house labels while simultaneously serving as a contract-packaging plant for specialty and private-label beers. The TCA brand was commissioned as a custom label intended for distribution through tennis centers, tournaments, and athletic clubhouse facilities rather than mainstream retail channels.

Collector Notes and Variations

In the breweriana community, the can is prized among collectors specializing in Florida brewing history as well as sports-themed cans. Variations are known to exist across different manufacturing batches, featuring minor differences in mandatory brewery text placement, bottom lid imprints, and state tax notations.
