Tivoli Beer Malt & Men Beer Flat Top Can

Tivoli "Of Malt and Men" Flat Top

The Tivoli Beer Malt & Men flat top can is a celebrated piece of Rocky Mountain brewing heritage issued by the Tivoli Brewing Company of Denver, Colorado. Produced out of the historic brewery complex in Denver's Auraria neighborhood, this can is recognized among collectors for the "Of Malt and Men" story printed across the reverse panel.

Rather than using identical branding on both sides, Tivoli dedicated the back of the can to storytelling, highlighting the tradition, craftsmanship, and dedicated workforce behind the beer. The front side showcases the classic Tivoli insignia, bordered by distinct horizontal bands and star accents.

Manufactured by the Continental Can Company, this can is also known for several collectible production variations. Depending on the distribution requirements and specific manufacturing run, variations exist with different star graphic finishes—such as metallic silver detailing—as well as different mandatory alcohol statement placements on the lid or can body.

Representing regional mid-century graphic packaging from Colorado, the Tivoli "Of Malt and Men" can holds a special place in Western breweriana collections.
