Tivoli Western Premium Beer Flat Top Can

Tivoli Western Premium Flat Top

Brewed and packaged by the Tivoli-Union Company in Denver, Colorado, the Tivoli Western Premium Beer can is a classic piece of Rocky Mountain brewing history. Tivoli traces its origins back to 1859 during the gold rush era, operating from its landmark facility in Denver's historic Auraria neighborhood, which expanded to become one of the most prominent brewing establishments in the West.

The label design highlights its regional identity, notably displaying the company's memorable slogan, "Posi-TIVOLI The Best Beer for You". The bold Western Premium branding reflected Tivoli's widespread distribution across taverns and retailers throughout the Rocky Mountain territory. Known variations exist across production runs, featuring subtle differences in canning text, metallic finishes, and specialized factory lid stampings, such as those issued for seasonal Bock releases.

With the original Denver brewery ending operations in 1969 before the complex was preserved as a designated historic landmark, this can serves as an enduring artifact of Colorado's rich brewing heritage.
