Among breweriana enthusiasts, the Tudor brand is best remembered as a major private-label label distributed heavily through supermarket chains, most notably the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) throughout the Eastern United States.

Design and Manufacture

The can's visual presentation centers around a classic heraldic crest paired with bold Old English typography proclaiming "Tudor" and "Premium Quality Beer". The vast majority of these containers were manufactured by the Continental Can Company, often displaying maker codes from regional packaging facilities such as Paterson, New Jersey.

Label Variations

Collectors recognize several distinct graphic and manufacturing variations of the Tudor beer flat top. Subtle changes throughout production include variations in background metallic sheens, shifts in mandatory brewery text formatting, and differences in decorative striping or color banding.
