Red Top's Twenty Grand Cream Ale

Produced by the Red Top Brewing Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, the Twenty Grand Select Cream Ale flat top can represents a memorable chapter in mid-century American brewing history. Red Top, which expanded significantly across the Midwest following the repeal of Prohibition, positioned the Twenty Grand line as a prominent regional offering alongside its flagship brands.

The label presentation features classic Twenty Grand iconography, prominently highlighting the recognizable horseshoe motif and the traditional brand slogan, "Here's Luck". The bold typography and vibrant color palette reflect the era's mid-century commercial design, crafted to stand out on retail shelves as canned beverages gained widespread popularity among consumers.

For breweriana enthusiasts, Twenty Grand cans serve as key artifacts from Cincinnati's storied brewing industry. Variations exist across production runs, showcasing subtle differences in mandatory brewer text, graphic elements, and tax lids used for regional distribution. The can remains an iconic representation of Red Top Brewing Company's diverse post-Prohibition portfolio.
