Wiedemann Bohemiam Special Brew Beer Crowntainer

Wiedemann Bohemian Crowntainer

The Wiedemann Bohemian Special Brew Beer Crowntainer represents one of the most recognizable packages issued under the Geo. Wiedemann banner. The Geo. Wiedemann brewing operations distributed widely across regional territories including Louisville, Kentucky, establishing the Bohemian brand as a regional staple.

The can design highlights the signature Bohemian Special Brew motif, framed by bold lettering and the traditional brewery insignia. A key graphic feature is the "Special Brew" designation centered prominently above the Wiedemann name, distinguishing this label within the brand's historical packaging catalog.

For collectors of regional breweriana, this can is notable for its production variations. Different manufacturing runs exhibit subtle differences in statutory text, including variations in mandatory federal tax-paid notations and alcohol content statements. Additional variations exist in minor label wording and print layouts across production batches.

Manufactured by the Crown Cork & Seal Company, the heavy-gauge two-piece steel container stands as an enduring emblem of mid-century Kentucky brewing heritage.
